Okay, so I am really bad at keeping up a blog. With that said I think I just need to find a “gimmick” to write about and I think I know what that can be. Relationship advice or advice in general kind of like a ask Abby or whatever the heck he name is type thing. I like to help others and this might be the best way for me to do that. So let us see how this goes.
You might be wondering, “Ellis, how do we know the advice you are giving is good?” and I would have the respond with, “The advice I give is to the best of my ability and from life experiences I have had. Be it relationship or otherwise.” I am by no means a psychologist, but I do like to help others anyway I can.
Now than, my wife and myself have been married for just about 6 months, however we have been together for 9 years. Yes, it took us a while to get married but we wanted her to finish college and have a job before we got married. With that said I will not delve into matters involving her on a personal level that might embarrass her. I might use our relationship as a point of reference from time to time. Other than that I will keep everything else off limits.
That’s all for now,

So its been about 3 years since my last post, I knew I would be horrible at keeping this thing up. Anyway, seeing that no one reads this damn thing I figure what the hell I’ll just blog about what ever happens to pop in my head, kind of keep up with the going on’s in my life. If I some how get people to follow this then so be it, but eh it is what it is.
With that being said, my post will range anywhere from goings on with the wedding planning to video games that I am currently playing or maybe when the NFL season gets here I’ll talk about my beloved Atlanta Falcons.
So let’s try this blog thing again, shall we?
I really hate 4 way stops, b/c you really can have awkward moments at them. Such as when you and a person stop at the same time and you both stare at each other waiting for the other to go, you tell them to go, then they tell you to go. Then when one of you decides to go the other person has decided to go too, then you both stop have a brief chuckle then one person goes. Its one of those awkward moments I don’t like having, They should really put a number on the stop signs that pops up in the order you stop, that would make it much easier. This cold just be me and my crazy mind.
Until next time,
Picture if you will a young boy say between the age of 9 and 10, he’s with his mom or dad in their local game stop. The boy picks out a game and goes can I have this, not wanting to hear the kid wine about not getting the game the parent buys the game, without even looking at the rating that is on the game. The game that was just bought for said child is grand theft auto, the child gets it home and starts playing it. Now lets say a year later the kid brings a gun to school to shoot a kid who has been picking on him. He ends up shooting this kid but not killing him. Once the story gets out the parents end up blaming the video games he has been playing for the reason he did this. Now shouldn’t the parent take responsibility for the games the child has been playing because they are the ones who bought them. Why should the video game company be blamed for putting out a game that helps the creators put food on the table for their family. The parent should take the time to look at the rating and research the game before they just buy the game the kid ask for. They should also take the time to teach their child about what is fake and what is real and that if you do shoot someone in real life they aren’t going to to regenerate, they will stay dead.
Now when I was a kid my parents took the time to teach me the difference, I also spent a lot of time using my imagination and play out side. I didn’t grow up with a lot of video games I didn’t have game consoles. The closest thing I had to a video game was playing commander keen or math blaster on the computer. I did watch my father play Wolfenstine 3D and DOOM II but I also knew those things were fake b/c that’s what I was taught. So later on in life when I did have a Playstation 1, 2 or 3 I knew that the things I was play weren’t real.
I guess what I’m trying to say its time for parents to take responsibility for their child’s actions and not blame it on something else.
That’s it for me, till next time-E
Time to give you my take on violence in video games and where I stand with it.
Normal, everyone whats to be it in one way or another. I pose this question to you, what truly is normal? Is it what society thinks everyone should be like? Who gives society the right to determine what is and whats not normal. The way I have always looked at is that everyone is weird in their own way thus wouldn’t being weird be normal and someone trying to be what they think is accepted at normal be considered weird? I only pose these questions b/c everyone is weird or strange in their own way, and that’s what makes being a human and being alive so much fun. b/c everyone thinks different from one another. No 2 people are the same, sure they may act the same way and get along really well but that’s b/c they have found a common ground. And besides whats the fun in trying to act “normal” I have always found its more fun to be yourself, and if someone tells you to grow up tell them to grow down, that will make them think. Everyone should be proud of who you are and what makes you, you. So with this I say always be true to yourself and don’t let others determine who you are. -E
If your reading this, you have just taken your first step into the wild and crazy place my mind is. Or at I have titled it the rabbit hole. My thoughts are going to be random and out there. But that’s me so take it or leave it.
